Those dually fenders are the most freakin amazing things ever! I've always wanted to convert my short bed to a dually. I'm gonna do it. Yup I'm gonna do it! Now to find a shop that will put the fenders on.

these are basically the same length as the short bed .. so they will need tail lamp modifications to make work

You say tail lamp modification. How much? I'm kinda picturing how it could look and I'm thinking like you said an inch of overhang? (77" fender to a 76" bed.) So like the back half is longer than the front half so the wheel whels are in the same spot as the short bed ones? Sorry I'm not privy to long beds.

So I just measured my bed and it measures 77" to the edge of where it wraps around to my tailgate does that consider it a long bed?

these are also 77" long .. wheel well is not centered , so the front edge will be ok .
so because of how the tail lamp area is cut out of the bed , you will need to cut and modify the dually flare

sounds like you would be better off using fiberglass bedsides for a desert truck.

Yeah .. these are really built for the long bed ...

If I had enough "committed" interest , I would build them to fit a short bed for sure
