Yeah I'm going to roll/pull them soon, hopefully this weekend. I'm going to remove the tires from the rims too, gonna run them through the powdercoater at work. Black with a polished lip. :D

Well, just got a text from the guy I bought both of these trucks from. He has a red '75 Dually for sale, running/driving. He's wanting $700.00 for it or $500.00 no engine/trans.. I might pick this one up too.

That's rad! Glad its getting some progress. Love the trailer idea. Ya better lower it. And hook up the lights.

Up front you're gonna need to hammer the inner fender firewall pinch weld and a few other spots. And get rid of the bump stops. 3 turns should sit lower. Did ya keep the rubber spring spacers?

Yeah, the trailer will be getting 3'' blocks in the rear as well. :D And I will be wiring all the lights. Yeah, I kept the rubber Isolaters. I had a set break apart on my mkII Supra, and everytime I hit a bump and the spring moved, it popped and sounded like all hell. I figured I would be pounding the pinch weld, no biggie. Thought of doing it to be safe anyway.

You'll find a few spots that rub up front too but its simple hammernomics. The isolators added the extra height I was seeing vs mine. I do hear my springs move around once in a while but they can't go anywhere.

Put longer lower shock bolts up front and run a nut on the top side. And use some fat washers on the bolt head. I've had issues with shocks shoving through the base and eating the street. Cuz the shock bar has 2 split openings not actual holes so it bent past the bolt head. Under more strain being in a low position. I think I have 68 camaro v8 front shocks this time and they fit fine.

Oh ok, good info to have! Did they raise the front any? I don't want to put new shocks on and get 1/2'' or something. I can still take a bit of coil out, but I hope I don't have to. Definitely going to add the bolts and washers though. Cheap, and safe enough. :D

I don't think my shocks effected my ride height any. I'm always changing tires and rims around so its never the same anyways. And the hardware is a definite must for the few bucks it costs.

Ok, I'll look around locally and see if I can find anything.

More progress, as I spent all day working on the truck. Cut out and fixed the hole under the battery tray, beat/welded the pinch welds up front. Stripped my one painted Starion, and undercoated the front wheel wells. It's looking pretty damn good now. I put my new sticker on too, hehe.

Decided against powdercoating the rims, too much hassle. Just gonna paint the centers black. Would have just polished them, but this one was painted because the face is scuffed, and I want them to match. I'll be looking for another set that I can just polish up.

Since my closed in back porch is connected to my laundry room, I decided to open the door and heat the porch. It was a good chance to test paint one of my Starions. Now time to get rid of the stink before the woman gets home from work. :runaway:

Good progress. You'll want a better radiator for sure. Engine bay doesn't get much flow. Aluminum helps alot too.

I'm actually wondering what in the hell I'll do for a fan. No room what so ever on either side of the radiator. I might have to get 2 small fans and just put them wherever I can get them to sit. I think this mkIII rad will be alright, I've opened up a lot of room up front, most of the rad will see air. Only thing that won't is what's under the bumper/valence, and I still plan to build some sort of "Scoop" to mount under the valence to draw air up. I have a wild idea for a lip too, but more about that at a later time. :D

Well, my header didn't fit between the block and the frame, so I was forced to go back to the manifold. It's pretty much just wiring/fuel now. I'm just going to use the stock fuel system with a inline Porsche pump. I plan to swap the upper intake manifold out soon, so I'll get to my booster/EGR blockoff plates then.

Header doesn't fit my butt. It's close enough, bang a dent in those pipes or notch the frame. It can fit, make it happen!

I will eventually, I just wanted to get it out of the way. I'm sure it can be heated and bent to fit.
