Hi, My name is Jeroen and I'm from the Netherlands. I came across this site by 1stgencelicas.com. I'm restoring a Starlet KP60 at the moment which is Greta to do. I also have a 1977 celica TA23 with a 3 speed automatisch gearbox. There's a 2T engine in it. After Some research I found out that if I fancy a 4 speed automatisch gearbox with overdrive I have to searh for an A43D gearbox from a 1983 and up Toyota Pick-up. I'm hoping some of you guys can help me out finding one. There aren't many left in Europe so finding one is a bit of a pain in the ##s! Seeing forward to speak to you! Cheers!
Most of the trucks in that year will be manual. Almost all the hilux/pickups in the States will be manual. Good luck on your search.
