I have a complete set, just having a bit of trouble getting my 2 from the old front valence. The bolt heads have rung off, so I might just wind up grinding the tips off and trying to remove them that way. Not sure yet.

Try to cut a flat notch in the bolt head for a flathead screw driver. A dremal and a 1" cutoff disc should work. Or smash the lenses and keep the buckets, I have lots of lenses lol.

lol, yeah I have 3 lenses between the trucks. I'll try that after work tomorrow and see if I can remove them. I wish it would warm up enough to paint so I can epoxy this grill and prime it along with the valence.

Hahaha. I am in the process of converting that back room into something like that. The plexiglass windows fold out. I want to get and install a bathroom "Fart sucker" soon also.

Two center bolts holds the light to the valance. Outer 4 hold the lens on. I think they poke through, might be able to grab the exposed threads with vice grips and twist them loose.

Or you could put an LED marker in the grille and use the valance hole for a fog light.

Or you could get JDM style two color front lights from eBay. Instead of dim orange and bright orange, its a white marker and bright orange blinker. To me, it looks better cruising and has a more obvious blinker. Since its so low, and on mine its body color, I wanted people to know I'm turning and not crash into me. And I ran LED white bulbs in the white but normal on the blinker, so the speed wouldn't change for the "blinking"

And if you decide to take those chrome window deflectors off, let me know what you want for them. I've been after a set for ages. I've already added 74 lower window chrome and drip rail chrome.

And ill keep an eye out for the smaller 74-76 cab vents. I have lots of the 77/78 bigger ones.

Alright, appreciate that. I think I'll hold onto the deflectors, they look pretty nifty. I did remove the rear bumper earlier, instead of bolting it on, it was welded. So, I had to lay in the mud with a sawzall knocking rust and junk off into my nose. I have a photo, I'll post it in a sec.

Realized flairs from my '80 4x4 would actually just cover the Starions.

I'll get new photos tomorrow, it got dark on me. I removed the seats today, and found only 1 mouse carcass, lol. The seats were bolted to the floor with nuts under the cab, what a bitch that was... rolled the end of my finger back when my ratchet slipped and I punched the frame. I also removed all sound deadening from the drivers side, and about 75% of the passengers side. Only 2 bad rust holes, both where the front of the cab bolts on. I'm just glad I have a welder and fab skills lol. I hope the metal is good there in my brown truck, but I highly doubt it. It I get the floor fixed this week, I plan to prep it, primer it, and spray bed liner on the floor and kick panels. I plan to run mkII Supra/Celica seats. They're nowhere near bolt up, but they can be made to be. :D

Those would be some comfy seats. I'm interested to see how they fit. I had an 83 supra and the seats were one of my favorite features. That and the IRS/discs. Wasn't enough to keep me out of a truck cab for long though.

I have 77ish corolla/celica seats. Hard to distinguish them, I think mine are 4 door corolla seats. Full back is vinyl and they tip. I got the truck with them, it was a bench truck. I took them out to add carpet and the mounts are right in line with how trucks do it. It did raise the tail a bit addin the carpet. Not too bad tho.

Nice. I love mkII seats, would go mkIII if the drivers wasn't so heavy. Here's the update.

Not horrible, but a setback. I got the steel to fix it at work today, atleast 8 sheets at 6' by 24''. She is gonna be a loving little pup when I get done. I work in steel doors, so I can cut it all at work if need be. I'm actually trying to get louvers punched into the hood over the turbo, we'll see soon. ;)

Hopefully the rain will be gone tomorrow so I can get new pics. Floor is done, and shot with bedliner.

Something is wrong in the cowl. VERY wrong. Went out and took a peek in before work while it was raining, water was EVERYWHERE. It was running down the passanger kick panel like a waterfall. Worse part was their was no hole for it to leave. Soo, I had to tarp the truck at 5:00am. Anyway, it warmed up, and the rest of the moisture inside dried out. I got to continue. Sanded and painted the interior side of both doors, both jams, and had time to do a cab corner. Getting there now!

I would look for a rust hole in the cowl. Take the wiper motor an cover plate off the firewall and feel/look around. Other than that sounds like its going well.

Other than that the build is flawless thus far. I'm just glad I spotted the water. I'm gonna pull my '69 c/10 out of the shop soon and tear into it more. Not too worried, just hope it's not too bad.

Those damn wheels. They just won't get outa my head. I think I'm gonna have to seek out a set for myself. It'll still fit 12.6" rotors so I guess that's enough lol.

Wouldn't fit with EGR equipment on the head, I'll need block off plates. The shifter is also about 2'' too far back, but that's just because it's a mkIII Supra w58, and the housing is back further. A mkII/Celica W58 would have hit right in the shifter hole perfectly. I don't feel like swapping housings, so I'll just cut the tunnel a tad to make it work. I don't know how well the trans crossmember is going to mount up, since it got too dark. If I have to I'll just make one or mod this one to work, childs play. Im going to be pulling the head off soon also, just going to go ahead and swap in a new headgasket with studs and misc small gaskets. I put a centerforce stage 3 clutch in before I stuck it in, so it's good up to 500ish horses. Never going to see anything more than 300, so I should be alright there.

That's badass. You know much about building 6m clones? Basically a 5m head and 7m block. Then you can use the 5m distributor driven ignition and run carbs. I had that idea for a long time. Instead of side drafts which don't fit between the dizzy and brake booster. I was gonna run part of the intake runner and 3 38/38 downdrafts. Anyways, looks great. Keep it up.
