ok so i have been looking for starions forever, finnaly found a decent deal i think? my question was is it a good deal and it looks like he has (1) 16x8 wheel and (2) 16x7 wheels , what do you think, would they all work good? with the 16x7's in front and buy another 16x8 and put those in back? i dont mind buying wheel spacers... Toyota factory 16" aluminum mag wheels + Tires

Score of a deal. You could run 14" or 15" celica 4 lug variants if you swapped an early Privia front brakes on lol. That's a set of 4. If they were 17s id be all over starions. But I can't fit my upcoming brake setup behind 16s.

unless they are gonna be 150 or less, id pass personally...youd be surprised how hard a rear 16x8 starion is to come by...

as is a full set, i wouldnt pay more than 250-300 depending on condition. the 16x8 and 16x9 id pay between 300-400 depending on condition as well. most usually are in pretty harsh shape and need repair and or restoration... so i would not jump on such a set for more than 250-300. just my opinion.

I have starion wheels in 7 8 and 9. I ran a set of 8s all theway around and it looks very clean in my opinion. Let me see what various pictures i can dig up. I actually still have 8s on thr front of my twin surbo sbf 92 toyota..

Here are 8s on all 4. Try not to get 7s, they are a little skinny, amd have a -10 offset i believe. The 8s are positive. Some starions /conquest come with staggered rims. My 8s run 215s, you could run 225. A 245 will fit on a 9. My buddy has a ls1 starion.

I remember there were 4 starion castings. A 16x7 -10, a 16x8 with +, a 16x9 with -, and a 16x9 with - so realistically there's a bunch of options. The offset is the most appealing part to me. I test fitted some 14x7s that are like -45mm and they stick out of my 78 a bit further than the bed will stretch. Gives me confidence to find something around -10.

Okay thanks for the 8s offsets. I knew there was a negative and positive version. -s were the standard rears, +s were the wide body starion/conquest fronts.

Spexi, why not just add a 20mm spacer to one of the negative 8s to make it match a positive 8, til you find a match.

Exactly what I am going to do. Or if I find one 16x9 (really hard to find) my buddy has another in his garage.

Sounds cool. Just keep scooping them as they pop up.

I wonder what a billet wheel company would charge to make a set of starions in 17". Maybe in a 2 piece bolt on design or a welded setup.
