when i first start my truck up sometimes when i rev it up a little it makes a odd vibrating/rattleing sound, it goes away after a few minutes, it sounds exactly like that sound when your slightly holding the brakes, but it goes away after a few minutes??
Something may be loose or making a rattle and tightens up when things are hot. Feel around and see if any exhaust heat shields or things like that are loose.
when you first start up, let that oil flow and fill the engine and filter, let the truck warm up. don't rev it up. It's like someone kicking you off the bed and making you sprint a quarter mile with no warm up or stretching. anyway, check fluid levels and pop the valve cover and inspect the timing chain guides
trust me i religiously warm my truck up every morning lol, ill check all fluids, what gets me is it even will do it like after its already warm it almost does it more when its already warm??? ill check the valve cover, will i need a new gasket?
Not unless yours is ancient and destroyed. Be careful with the half moon end seals and the washer/seals under the top 4 nuts. The gasket itself is an o ring style in a groove.
I know that exhaust clamp that holds the front pipe to the transmission is an important one. mine rattled off. Better yet, without that clamp, the front pipe will break at the 2-1 portion and BOOM HOLY COWABUNGA YOUR CABIN IS FILLED WITH NOISE WHEN YOU LEAST EXPECT IT AND YOU HEAR THIS 22RE RUNNING 4-2 ON THE EXH MANIFOLD AND IT'S LOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD. Yes, that happened to me one wintry night. Was going up the onramp, 22RE at full song, about 3600rpm's, maybe 4200rpm's, I still had the auto, in second gear, ready to reach 3rd gear and go towards 80mph... as I got to the top of the on ramp... BOOOM! I've never been so scared by my truck as that pipe broke. All 4800RPM's+ pointed directly at the cabin, is loud.
