So who else likes having stuff on the truck that isn't for driving but just for screwing around? I have an air horn on my truck, used to have a PA system. Am going to be adding a 60s fire engine siren soon. Wanna add some strobes or fun lights. So who has some cool stuff? Pics and videos are helpful.

    Depends on the local law.....................

I have the distinction of getting an impersonating an officer ticket.........................

in my lowered '63 VW bug.

no flashing lights, no forward facing lights apart from headlights, no ground effects.....

what I had was chrome firewall behind the motor with 2 12v lights with blue covers on them to reflect off the firewall and show off the motor.

Now realize that the motor is in the back here and I still got the ticket. The local law here told me any blue lighting (red as well apart from tail lights) was illegal and would get an impersonating an officer ticket. Now as I was getting this ticket (of course it took 2-3 officers to stand around to give me the ticket) there were 15-20 different vehicles who had blue and red interior lights, ground effects, headlights that they didnt look twice at.

so depends if your local law is cool or douche bags.

I'm talking for more off road stuff. Like camping or hanging in a parking lot. I know better than to have any blue lights, or even purple. And I probably wont use the siren in traffic. Nice little story though. Cops are smart lol

I installed strobe lights under my truck for our annual New Years Eve burnouts.I turn off all my lights and let the truck sit and smoke out then turn on the strobes and it looks crazy. There are a total of 4 two up front and two in the rear.[IMG]I took the bulbs and made glass jar housings to make them waterproof and strapped them to my chasis. There is a control box that runs inside the cab that controls strobe speed and front to back alternation.I powered it to a toggle switch to my lower panel on the left side of the steering wheel.[IMG][IMG][IMG]I cut some old wetsuit to pad the back.

All I have is this long video from New Years I'm the truck at 1:06.The lights are bright there so you can't really get the full effect.Btw this is a tradition every New Years Eve.Looks like craziness but It's like this all the way up and down our village and in many other villages on Guam. It's a blast.New Years in Malesso 2013 - YouTube

I'm thinking about getting a second pair of switchbacks with more LED's on them, move them to my turn sigs, take the 39LED's and move them to my corner lights. It's going to be a tight fit, but it'll be nice and bright.

I may consider putting them in my reverse lights, comes on bright white when reverse, and hook up the turn signal portion to the turn signals.

And then since it'll be all LED, I'll wire up to strobes :D
