no problem man, it doesn't hurt me to help educate others about a simple and proper detail that'll keep you smiling from the instant results you see.

I'll teach you all about how to fold a microfiber, too :D

I need to detail the rest of my truck, I just haven't had the energy to do so, lately.

Changed out a bad pressure sensor on my air system, pulled the tension-er pulley & bearing as get a noise from something up there. New belts & used belt dressing on them, so this was next. It is the original one!

I sheered off my rear driveline flange bolts an tossed the driveline around. Luckily long beds are captured with the carrier bearing. Dented the gas tank and the bed a bit. I had some spare bolts in the glove box and limped it home. Ill investigate further tonight in the garage.

I'm thinking the previous bolts weren't torqued down.

That could be. My carrier bearing has a worn out rubber donut. Bearing itself is okay. So it has excess play. Been on the to do list since I got it back on the road last month. Time to do a better fix.

I may need to replace mine some time.

I need to fix that with a single piece driveshaft and an IRS.

Well, I found out that my 06+ Civic 16's wouldn't work on the front of the truck last Friday, so I ended up ordering a pair of Explorer 16's to match the Mountaineer 18's on the back... I borrowed my buddy's Titan to go pick up my new rims from UPS and take them(along with the Civic 16's) up to get the tires swapped over. Now I have my rims on...

I may order some Cosmis MRii's for my truck. I'm thinking 18x10.5 +20mm.

I need to get my driveshaft shortened a wee bit, also.

Today I stepped up to the big rim crowd. Some giant 17x7.5s  I'll post a pic later. They look sick. I almost tuck rim lip all around. :D

    lol I went from 14x6 to 16x7.5 to 18x10

    14's i had 8 tires (4x 205/75 goodyear POS's and 4x 205/75 Michelin which are still good, at home)
    16's i had 10 tires (2 215/60 + 2 215/65, 2 215/60, 2 205/40 (with a spare) and two forgotten)
    18's i have 12 tires (4 265's, 2 225's + 2 255's, and 2 245's + 2 275's)

I got my 18x10's and threw the two pairs of 265/35's on my FR500's.
I then got my Nitto NT-01's and mounted them, 245/275.
I got 225/255's from my uncle. 40 sidewalls each.
I never use the 225's I got from my uncle's IS350. Too skinny and were dry rotted down the tread.
The 255's I have mounted up front, they were in better condition. 255/40 and a pair of 265/35's in the rear.
The 255/40's are slightly taller, so they rub like ****ing crazy when I turn almost full lock. On that fender well.
They're showing cord up front, I need to grab my other 265's at my friend's house but he's out of town for now. Need to mount that asap. It's slightly wider but shorter, and that doesn't rub for ****. Can't wait to have my relaxed turning radius again.

As for my Nitto's, they make an ALRIGHT seat. No back support though :( The 245/40 has a more flexible sidewall than the 275/35's, but it's a little lower stacked and the wider sidewall eases on the butt.
