ok, so i was thinking. yes, it hurt me lol.
didn't toyota have the "TOYOTA" logo stamped into the tailgate skins of the older lux's? cause from what i've seen, it looks like they started painting them on. if i'm not mistaken, my uncle's old long bed toy(think it was maybe like a late 70's model)had the name pressed into it.
anyway, i wanted to try to find an old tailgate and cut out just the "YO" part of the skin. and i wanted to have that "frenched" into my tailgate where that handle should be and relocate the handle inside the tailgate.
i think it'd look pretty cool.

I'm thinking of getting the whole Toyota and putting it in my tailgate.

 

Im thinking about doing the same thing but cut all the letters desperate and flip em around so there recessed in the tailgate

We did is sort of mod on my friends 89 Nissan!

And @ Danger Zone this year I saw a Chevy C-10 with a Chevy tail gate logo used as the top part of his dash! Logo facing forward so you would read though the windshield!!

naw, that's kinda what i mean, but i just want the "YO" right under where my tailgate handle woulda been. i plas on flippin the handle to the inside of the bed
