It now moves under its own power
Only forward and back a couple of meters but it goes, this is the first time I have ever driven it since owning it.
    Not much to do now

I took the radiator out to to get cleaned and pressure tested and it came back like a new one, fitted it and went for quickdrive and parked it back in the shed to find one of the frost plugs in the side of the block is weeping. So todays mission is to find a new frost plug and manifold gasket so i can fix it.

Lots of searching on Ebay, shipping has been a bit pricey to New Zealand sometimes more than what the item is worth but is better than using tatty old second hand bits and pieces.

I recently purchased a spare bonnet of Quentin (tintin) and I was fortunate to check out this truck. Looks awesome in the flesh and like a brand new truck. Good job man, and thanks for the deal on the bonnet.

Nice little build there. Love the color! I was wanting to do mine in a silver very similar, but I think I'll stick with the factory white.

    Keep up the nice work.

    Thanks guys,
Have spent the last couple of days getting rid of all the old rusty bits and putting in some new steel, fitting it to the chassis and made up a new frame behind the cab as the old one was bent and ugly.
So now its all ready for a blast and paint.
