I joined the forum because I love to mod ever vehicle I get my hands on. This truck is going to be fun. I plan on doing a lot of things to it and hopefully very unique. I am calling her Ayano. Which means "my design" in Japanese. I will be getting it in February and I cannot wait to work on it. I believe this vehicle will get me into welding for sure. I have always been into lowered vehicles and cannot wait to finally own one. If anyone is from Las Vegas let me know because I would love to swap ideas and some know hows. I am into car audio and this truck is going to be tough to work on since I am used to trunks. LOL. This is my first truck and I always wanted a small truck. I love Toyota and I am pleased to finally get my hands on one. I will be posting pics of everything so watch out for some very unique things happening to my truck. Thank you in advanced for all the knowledge and support.
welcome bro. There are a lot of Guam boys out there in vegas. Those are the dudes you need to talk too.Toyota trucks are a way of life for us.Got any pics of the truck?
welcome from Las Vegas! just started my project also, about 2mo into the build now. engine work pretty much done for now. trying to move into the little "cosmetics" stuffs. build-on-a-budget! gonna go check out Nevada Pick-A-Part on monday if i have time, n see what they got. great people on here. great help, great advice.
Ok gentleman I got my truck and it failed smog! Here are some pics. I recently took off the step bumper.
So I successfully did a Ball joint flip. I did the lower with 3 washers and the top with no washers. So now the front is lowered 1.25". Love the free drop. Now a little torsion and then on to the back. What should I do? I was thinking take out the middle leaf and do 3"blocks or should I just do 4" blocks? I kind of like a little bounce to the ride I don't mind unless I will catch air on the freeway. lol
So the truck won't start. It will turn over but it doesn't want to stay running. It's in a shop so I will pay to get it running and pass smog.
