So it was hard enough to find my last post on this project! Anyways last month I practically gave up on the truck. I forgot to PNO it and now my back fees are $617! Our current living situation is changing for the better and I cant keep the truck in the garage due to homeowners association. So I got as far as calling the junkyard and they only offered me $50 for the shell. I plan to keep the motor and maybe use it for another project. So I got so close and then out of nowhere I decide to work on it and keep it. My brother in law built a 240 coupe from the ground up with a full cage and its some serious great work. So I started to work on it day and night and its coming along really well. My brother in law is going to weld my two rust areas on each side of the floor pans and my bottom windshield lip on Sunday. On Monday Im putting it all back together and it will only need the motor to completely finish. With regards of the back fees Ill just get a second job to come up with the fees and Ill be set. Promise pictures will be coming really soon!
Ok a few updates its been sitting at a buddys house for the bottom windshield lip to be welded because it had rusted through completed. It also has two rust holes on either side of the floor pan. Good news that the windshield lip has been fixed even though I was told it couldnt be done. As for the floor pan it will get the done soon. I plan to bring it back to my house because I wont get fined due to homeowners asscociation rules. The truck will be complete minus the engine. I just need to find a low cost place to rebuild my 22re and then I can finally drive it. Pics will come real soon..
