I'd try and go to a salvage yard and find a door and a fender, or just the fender, that color matched your truck, and buy them. Preferably both off the same truck if you choose to get both. Somewhat mangled like it was in a "fender bender".

    Swap them onto your truck.

Take it to a shop and request a written estimate.

You can always return the parts to the yard. Might just be for credit and not cash back, but at this point, so what? Small price to pay, compared to the money you say you've invested in school. You might actually even use the credit somewhere down the line, anyway.

Not to rain on your parade or anything, but messing with police documents, photoshop'd or not, can land you into a bigger mess than the one you're already in. Especially if your teacher senses something a little off with the report and decides to dig a little deeper.

Though my idea isn't the most honest idea, just as long as you don't go reporting it to the police as a hit and run or something of that nature, you're getting the documentation your teacher needs, yet you're not opening doors that involve the police coming to pay you a visit.

Just an idea. It's my bedtime, so if it's a stupid idea, forgive me. I'm tired. :D

ya don't file a false report or make one up

find a fender bash it in

or take your bumper and ram it into something

you can always find replacements or see it as an excuse to get a roll pan lol

zwalker, i wouldnt buy any parts just remove your back bumper and like toyboy said get a bogus estimate from an autobody shop explain your situation theyll help you out and go a step further have a friend write you a check for the estimate amount that way you can show your teacher the truck with no bumper an estimate and a check not everybody goes through insurance companies for fender benders. oh and dont cash the check

ya fake estimates work... or just say all the damage was to the other persons vehicle and rubs some paint on your bumper and show him that...or, find someone else who has the same color truck as you and find a picture of some damage on that one...

it really all depends on what zwalker has already said to the teacher this is what i would have said and done 1.teacher sorry im late was in a fender bender a lady rearended my truck bent my bumper a little she talked me into not calling the cops or going through insurance she gave me all her info so now i just need a estimate to give her so i can get it fixed 2.removed the rear bumper in case teach might see it 3.if the teacher is still persistent i would then get an estimate 4. wait a bit reinstall rear bumper 5. if teacher wants documents then show him the estimate that should shut him up. i wouldnt do a bogus police report if the teacher calls it out then your up s..ts creek.

    This is true.....

but i still think that if this teacher was to go as far as to look at your truck, check for a police report, and really spend that much time trying to catch you in some little lie because you were a little late for class, then he is truley a jerk.

i agree with the others you just take the bumper off for safe measure get an estimate for a new rear bumper and take it to him i mean that sure has hell will be alot more safer than goin and faking a police report that will be bad
