    are you going to refinish them or leave them as is and toss on some rubber?

    Probably refinish them with semi gloss black.

    ...but now that you mention it, leaving them as-is wouldn't be a bad idea.

    FINALLY getting around to putting my truck back together, just need a rad hose, oil filter, oil and coolant. Put the rad back in and the fan on with the belts, giver her a tune and fire her up. Only been in the garage a few years.....

    Got the switch bezels & door handle cover plates back in paint & clear coated!
    Will have all this stuff back in the truck Thursday! Reshot the wipper arms as had clips in them!

    Also blocked the front bumper blocked out ,will get primed tomorrow!:cool:

    No big deal really but:

    1.Drilled out the spot welds and removed, the mounting bracket for the stock jack and the mounting brackets for the extension rod along the back wall.

    Rechecked my air lines( slow leak) & using a leak solution I found that's better soapy water!
    Also finished the paint/clear coat on the front bumper!:cool:

    i removed the stock rear bumper, gonna try to fit some prius wheels on it and slam it!

    prius wheels didnt fit so going another route, but i got it lowered 3in in the rear and 4in in the front

    Drove it to work so I could take in doughnuts for the office for Valentines Day. Co-workers were happy.

    went to install chrome door handles and snapped the little plastic clips that go onto the rods. now i need to find out where the hell i can get new ones from.

    Parts store should have them there called a link rod clip if not you can get them from Toyota parts department at your local dealership. Just an idea:shrug:
