On the 2wd I've seen conflicting info from parts houses.

    '84-94
    '84-87 then '88-94

    Any clarification would be appreciated.

I'm wanting to know as I'm planning o. A frame swap and want/need to know if parts are interchangeable. Looking at getting lower drop control arms, but won't do so unless I know they are interchangeable. My understanding was '84-94 were same design until they went to the taco. Appreciate clarification from those who have the the knowledge!

All of the suspension parts should be the same. I believe the body mounts were what changed on the frames is all

I was more concerned with front suspension parts, leaves I figured were different lengths, just like 4wd

84-87 and 88-up have different front end components. I can't remember exactly, but its not the same. Spindles are, but lca and strut rods I think are not the same

I'm finding conflicting data on the LCAs also. I've seen a lot of stock replacements out there listed as 84-88. I'm mainly interested in the after market ones. DJM has lower control arms with 3" drop. They state they fit 88 and up. Streetacos has them as part of a lowering kit for 84-95.

Does anyone know for sure when or if the LCA changed between 84 and 95 and if the DJM would fit an 85?
