Wow thats looking better every time you post an update! Its gonna be sweet!

Question..... when you moved the tank to the rear where do you have the filler neck comming through?

There's a filler panel on the back of my bed that was put there when I raised the bed floor. It's gonna come through that. There's just enough space between that filler panel and the tailgate for the gas cap to go. Only thing is, everytime I fill the tank I gotta lower the tailgate!!!

Actually after measuring I don't think the cap will fit with the tailgate shut. I don't know if a non locking gas cap is more low profile, so I want to check into that, because the locking one is almost 2 inches tall. There is only maybe 1 1/2" from the gate at the furthest point. I'll try to remember to grab a stock cap soon, but it may have to come up through the floor since the stock filler (the part behind the cap) is about 6 inches long itself. My other thought was to install a semi-flush cap like this, but I don't think the smog guys would like it.

that's a pretty sweet idea. Out of sight, out of mind. When I raise my bed floor, that's probably what I'll do.

Here's the one I did on a Mazda though, with a stock cap. The tailgate pushes it in a bit when it's closed, so if I get a stock cap and mount yours a bit higher than that one I think it could work out.

    Cool, thanx Seth.

They're not from any Toyota. I just put Toyota emblems on the center caps. The wheels are made by "AT Italia", and they're called "Double Face".

Hey thats gonna look pretty slick! Hides it too so if your going for that clean look. Im sure you could find a flush mount cap. Or if you recessed the filler panel in and shortened the feller neck, would you be able to pull it in enough to still use the stock cap?

Stock cap is 3/8" shorter and should clear the tailgate.
