So, still putting the 76 together. The old hubs seem like they've been over-heated several times and some of the bolt holes common to the Rotor and Hub are damaged. Thinking about several repairs for them: A. upsize the bad holes and go with bigger bolt B. helicoil the bad holes and keep same bolt size C. replace them with new D. replace them with used Availability is an issue and strength is another issue. What did you do, what are you doing, what would you suggest?
It depends on how much you want to spend? I don't know how much new ones are but would be my best bet along with. Ew wheel bearings. Buying old ones runs the potential of them being warped as well. And the other two options seem like a quick fix to get it by till ulyou can fix it right. But you have to think you probably need to replace the rotors if you drill out for bigger bolts. All up to you but i think i'd pony up for a new set of hubs and bearings.
I have a used pair in good shape I'd sell ya for 40 bucks plus shipping... would need your zip to check shipping cost
If you could email a few pics that would be great. I might even be able to come down and pick them up in person. we're up on Camano Island.
