18rc... Engine color

    So committing to my 18RC.. Quick question what color is your 18rc engine block... Mines looks like it used to be greenish... Curious to know if this is a OEM color... Thanks

    committing? does that mean your rebuilding it? Yes my block is a dull green as well, although I had to clean off the muck to see it. Don't know the history of what Toyota painted these blocks but it does appear to have held up to 38 years of use.

    Thanks Mercury... jus cleaning... only got 60k on it.. but she needs some lipstick and components needs some refurbishing... also switching intake to single cannon manifold & weber 45... so since im there.. might as well.. ha ha... anyways thanks for your confirmation... im going to go with a Duplicolor Detroit Deisel Alpine Green - DE1618.... looks like it will match up to our color... btw you got any Japan Stickers on your block ?
