So im doing a 350 swap into my 74, my brake booster is gone, ive found a few stock replacements, but before i start buying anything...

    - Should i consider putting bigger brakes on front and rear? ( all stock at the moment)

    - Is the stock axle going to be okay for this motor? If not what kind of options do i have or rather, from what vehicles could i get a rear axle from?

    - If i did end up with bigger brakes, and for this size of motor, does the stock brake booster provide enough power?

    - If not, can you just use a brake booster out of anything that would bolt up? Like i have been searching the scrap yards and i see ones that are a lot thinner, so they dont stick out so far from the fire wall... if i end up getting pinched for room with a 350 sbc in it, could i save room by using one from another vehicle that is "thinner"?

Thanks in advance, and also i just have to get this out there, if anyone has a 72-78 grille with dual headlights for sale, please PM me.

    1. Yes. Its almost required. Lucky for you Yotas are easy to adapt big brakes to. I run LS400 stuff on the front of my 82.

    2. The rear axle is strong enough, But the differential is the problem. Id suggest running an aftermarket limited slip. (OR, get a V6 G code third member chunk and use a 7MGTE supra limited slip differential in it)

    3. Could always use hydroboost out of a astro van or mustang. You could stop a train with it. But I bet no-booster would be ok.

    4. Almost nothing will just bolt up. Fabbing is going to be required.
