Seems like i lost a few mpg after my recent tune up.
I'm getting somewhere in the ball park of 24mpg.
I drive speed limit & shift at 3k rpm.

Could it be my O2 sensor?

Also i still have my cat attached to my (stock) set up.

Do you gain any MPG's removing your catalytic converter?

My mpg dropped dramatically too ... I was avg 29 mpg but after adding Lucas gas treatment and topping off the tank {at a EXXON station that usually don't go to} I checked my mpg at my next fill~up and it dropped to 16 mpg ... I still have'nt figured it out yet ... I've changed the plugs, air/fuel filters, cleaned carb and added a can of Seafoam fuel stabilizer ... Gonna see if there's any change with my next fill~up ...

Any updates on your gas mileage? I too added Lucas Gas Treatment and I think my MPG decreased dramatically from 26mpg to 14mpg. I changed my air filter and did an oil change... idk what it is. :/ I have a stock carb and a Magnaflow 40 Exhaust. When the truck sits over night or through out the day without driving it, the IDLE sticks. I let it idle on high for about 5 minutes but the idle is still at like 1200-1300rpm... I rev the throttle a little bit and it'll go down (sometimes) otherwise it'll just go back up to 1200-1300rpm. Would a Tune Up fix the Idle from sticking and would it help my gas mileage?

check your spark plugs and wire by using a ohms meter..anything from 4 to 7 is good..if not u might be buring fuel from your carb coke..might need to tune up the carb and maybe timing.....i get about 22-24 mpg on street and 26 on freeway...all i did is chage plugs rotor vaccum line fuel filter....my truck use to get around 19mpg and would backfire wen its cold...but now w new vaccum line and EGR vale it never dose it anymore...knock wood..

o2 sensor helped me, but I had a factory one in my truck with 297xxx miles on it. Replacing the accel pump and aux accel pump diaphragms also helped me.

I noticed it runs rich. I smell gasoline from the exhaust. The idle runs high even after its more then warmed up, so I have to throttle it to get the rpm's down. I put in a full tank and within a few days its almost empty... this is killing me. How much would a shop charge me to change those things, I'm not very automotive savy... :/ my tank must be like a 13 gallon tank because every time I fill up, it stops at 12.5 gallons. At $52 for a full tank, this is killing me in my wallet. Help.

If we could buy real gas at the pump we would be getting alot better gas mileage.

My mpg is back to 29 now ... All i did was add a couple cans of Seafoam over the past few fill-ups and it gradually climbed back up ... Not sure if it was the Lucas gas treatment i used or just got bad gas that time ... Needless to say, i have'nt added Lucas since then and stayin' away from the EXXON station i got the gas from and it's been getting better ...
