only had my truck for a few days and a pretty loud whining is coming from the back of my truck. not sure what it is but its annoying going down the road. the pitch of the sound changes when i take my foot off the gas. dont think its a wheel bearing cause it starts at about 25-30 mph. anybody have any suggestions on what it could be. dont want to start replacing parts till i find out what it is.

Check your front rotors. Mines were rusted & warped.

I had a good amount of vibration sound/humming and it couldn't exactly make out where it was coming from, thought it was coming from the rearend. Ended up taring apart my whole rearend looking for bad bearings but there were all still good. :duh:

i noticed last night on the way home that my speedometer was acting up. it would be working fine and suddenly would bounce down to 0 then back up to the correct speed. no certain time it does it some was wondering if this could be cause some of the whine i'm hearing. is they some where i can unhook it to see if thats the problem without taken my whole dash apart to get to the back of my speedometer.
