Well it's kinda not cheap they are out of a 1993 toyota land cruiser front axxle it's a high pinion too so the gears are reversed. And it's the second front end I've done this to. Oops. Hopefully I can get it back together for this weekends meet

Are you using it in the front or rear?? From what I understand from by buddy who is a hardcore rock crawler builder using reverse cut pinions in the rear reduces the load they can bear quite drastically so maybe this would be why the teeth are getting chewed up cause its under too much load? Of course I have no idea how your ride is setup and Im not even one to try to talk about 4x4 stuff with toyotas. If its in the front which would actually be under less load then I really have no clue unless your just getting bad pinions. In which case coming out of landcruisers NO they are not cheap. Hope you get it fixed cause if your like me I hate being without my Toy.

So I talk to bud, and he said that you were pulling his RV out of the dunes with it. And that's when it was starting to go. Silly derrick I'm the only one that can pull out RV. And I did it whit my samurai and drove it home. Lol

If I remember correctly, the gears in a high pinion diff contact on the back side of the teeth, the weak side. It's been a while though, I could be wrong. Never the less, something isn't right. Good luck getting this figured out. Time for a 60.

no way on the 60 to heavy.. i broke the rear driveline and was daily driving in FWD only and the truck has a 350 small block with a gnarly shift kit plus i never checked the fluids in the front diff so it all broke due to driver not maintaining the vehicle and stupid decisions but it was fun and worth it
