Hi, have an '88 4x4 pickup. The lights on the heater control side of the dash work but I have no lights in the dash cluster at all. Where do I find the light bulbs? do I need to pull the cluster to change them? I hate driving around at night and not being able to read gauges!!! Thanks!!!

If all the dash lights are out it could be the bulbs are burnt, but I would check for the fuse first. I can't recall if the dash lights are on a circuit by themselves or if they are tied in with maybe the tail lights too. If the bulbs are bad, it is pretty easy to pull the cluster out and replace the bulbs. Do a search for gauge cluster swap. It will show pics of how to pull the cluster and tell you what to remove.
    Good Luck

according to the manual the lights are tied to the tail light circuit, and the tail light come on. I'll do as you suggest and research the cluster swap. Thanks again!!

I had the same problem. I had to remove the whole dash and take out the cluster itself. I found the bulb burnt out so I replaced it. Also I checked the tail light fuse which is also burnt out. Change the tail light fuse and the bulb size is 194LL and you'll be ok.
