whats up everyone. new to toyota minis forums... I got a 93 pickup drop roughly on a 3/3 torsion front, belltech 3" blocks in the rear. I got some nitro 2 shocks. on some stock 14" steelies with some ballon 205/75/14 O_O. Anyway back to my question... Ive seen so many other pickups WAY WAY WAY more slam then mines. I've tried the whole pulled middle leaf in the rear and it just caused the load of driveshaft rubbing on the crossmember EVEN with nitro 2 shocks, so I but the leaf back in for now and back to 3/3.... Please help me wanna get lower ASAP......... much mahalos

p.s. once i can snap a pic i'll throw it up and possibly start a build thread

Cheap, easy and a sh.tty ride- take out the torsions pull leafs add blocks

Turn down the torsions, pull a leaf, add a block- safer than /\/\ plus a better ride

If u got the $$ then drop arms, spindles, drop leafs, blocks+notch

All of the above is correct but in order to go lower you will need to C notch the back and the crossmember.

    Ride um dirty.
My buddy's 88 was about 1 1/2 inches off the ground. Torsion all the way/cut front fenders/ drop arms/notch/4or5" block/mono leaf.

    Completely buried. Past slammed.

He had to bring it up about half inch though cause he kept hitting the road reflectors.

I'm guessing my driveshaft rubbing against the crossmember when i pull the middle leaf has alot to do wit 75 series tires and no notch... i need to find a shop or someone on oahu who notch frame.

Byronics... i might try that... does it have any side effects?

iThink the only disadvantage to having the overload on top is when you load up heavy stuff... but other than that the ride feels pretty good to me and it gives you around 1/2" - 3/4" of a drop... iNever really measured but in a game of inches, every lil bit counts haha:evil:
