This week I'm putting a turbo on my stock 22r 2wd 1987 turbo. I'm just wondering if I can keep my stock carburetor or do I need something else. Also curious on how many psi's I should run with completely stock motor. Any info would be great

So is this a 22ret or a stock carbed 87? I dont think a stock carb would be the way to go with a turbo set up. go with EFI.

That doesn't look like a stock carb but I guess it's the same concept.

Yeah its a stock with a carb. For now id like to keep the carb setup. With the blow through meathod how is it different from normal meathods? And is there any parts that meathod specifically needs? Thanks for the advice

Ur going to need a top hat and a edelbrock carb designed for blow through designs. And also a turbo manifold. I have a hat I got from summit a while ago when I was getting ready for turbo. It's in great shape and comes with silicone connector for $100 let me know with a pm if you are serious
