I am looking into getting a new carburetor for my 71 hilux. I believe it has the 8R engine. I am wondered what kits work best for these trucks. I have found the 32/36 weber carb but am wondering if this is the best carb for the truck or if I should get something different. Any suggestions would be sweet.

    Thanks

When you put it on did you need any conversion kit or anything? Im thinking of buying one and installing it my self but have never replaced a carb before.

71hans, what did you decide? Did you need a conversion kit?
