OK so im looking into a new bellhousing adapter for my trans (dont worry what for:lol: ), but on the transmission end of business will this bolt up to my w58 ???I know is says it is for a 4x4 but I dont see why it wouldnt work.. unless im just thinking happy go lucky.. but arent all the 5 speeds for our truck the same minus the transfercase ???

also if it will fit my w58 theres no reason why it wouldnt fit on an r154 right ???

Arent you planning on running a LS1 (or variant)?

Id have a hard time putting 300+ HP thru a w58. (considering how I have loosened up more than 1 with my little 22R).

Wont work for the R15X tranny though.

I would just think it would be easier using a T5/T56 out of whatever instead of a yota trans because you'll probably have to set the motor/trans back anyway {needing both a new trans mount and driveshaft}.

Yeah, I picked up an all aluminum ls1. I thought the adapter would be nice so I didnt have to go out and get a t56 (1000 to 1500 bucks) or tranny mounts or driveshaft. Im planning on doing it down the road but this is just an option. so your saying it wont work ?

also for those who dont know, small block chevys like 305 and 350s have the same trans bolt pattern as any newer ls(x) motor, only thing is 1 bolt will not fit.
