4.3 Swap

    Truck:
    2007Taco Xtra cab, 1987 Reg cab ,1985 Turbo Xtra cab
    Have an 85 Xtra cab 2wd sitting with bad motor. Have a 2002 Blazer with rebuilt moter and new trans sitting in yard got rear ended. Complete vehicle! How hard is the swap ? Will it work? If you can drop a small block why not 4.3.

    You could swap in the 4.3. Its been done lots with the 4wd guys

    But I wouldnt do it even if I had your parts truck. They dont make that much power, and the PATS system is tricky to bypass.

    Lots of work for little power.
