thanks ,you know how it goes there's always something to do. I want to get mine bagged like yours but, can't just yet. I'll use yours for inspiration. Mazdaman-- I still have the stock bumper but, I'll be hanging on to it,sorry. Here's some pics of the old Mazdaratti
Thanks! I'm very happy with the look. Here's a pic up to date with the valance painted. I have a post somewhere of how I made the cheapo brakets.http://www.toyotaminis.com/forum/ex...-brakets-84-convert-89-94-a-10532/index2.html
I love the look of that! Did you have to modify the bumper/valance at all or just the mounting brackets?
I left the stock bumper brackets on and attached the metal to those. Check out the video above. I'll see if I can get a clear pic of the underside. It's pretty simple and remember it's the cheepo way but,it's solid. Here's those pics ,hope it helps.
I have the valance from a 89-95 Im tryin to find a one piece plastic or metal 84 bumper to mount it to But lookin good I wasnt sure the 84 bumper lights would fit i the 95 bumper i got a buddy that has a 92 OR 93 bumber also so idk. Did you use the 84 or 95 brackets is all the pics how the valance mounts to bumper? Im also only using the two center brackets no side brackets.
The valance is attached to the bumper with nuts and bolts--the holes are already there. You can make the lights work although the lenses are smaller in length.
