d.u.i. ignition?

    you talking about those bigass chevy converted ones? There was somebody on here talking about it before. I had one on my 77, only problem I had was the pin got lose where the toy shaft met the chev shaft so the timing would jump around and fail smog every test. Other than that and the fact it stuck WAY out it was great especially with no inner fenders and rain haha. It made a difference in the truck for sure, I could kick her around corners shifting into 2nd with no problem :lol:

    cool...thats just what i needed...but i think they make one just for the 20r...maby its just the same,just set differnt idk. you did notice a performance change...did you advance your timing or open the gap on your plugs?

    advanced and opened the gap yes, that distributor is what comes from these guys Toyota 4 Cylinder DUI

    yah thats were i was looking to, so then they prolly dont make shorter one for the 20r...well ill email them... thanks man

    my truck had a 20R, The way they build them was the only real bad part I thought
