I have had a 1985 celica for the past 3 or 4 years now. Did some work to it and made it look nice and stuff. In that time period my friend has gone threw at least 10 cars if not more. For a long time all he wanted was a chevy truck with a 350, so he kept buying those heaps. eventually it was time for another truck so he began searching, he called me the one day and said "is a 91 toyota pickup with a 22re and a stick any good? its only 800 bucks." I of course told him to go get it immediately! after he got it home he was saying yeah ill probably just drive it till it blows. 2 weeks later he was in love with the truck. I have a build thread on another forum that id like to link to to save me some time re posting everything. Keep in mind this is my buddies truck not mine, i own a celica. http://www.celica-gts.com/forums/index.php?topic=22489.0 Here is the short story on the build thread if you don't feel like reading at all. Ford 8.8 rear end with 3.73 gears trak lok and 11" disk brakes Long story short it two wheel peels bouncing off the rev limiter, its his only car and he needs it to get to work. We do all this stuff over the weekend and somehow get it buttoned up before monday. Not sure whats next, could be a r154 trans or a turbo? I never really know what he is going to do next but, I always seem to talk him into doing something else to it. Id like to snap some more pictures I just always forget to when he is here.
