Hi all. I posted last fall and thought I would drop by and introduce myself. My name is Jeff and I purchased a '76 Hilux, 5 speed manual, with a 21RU engine. Got some great advice here, but the truck has been parked for almost a year now. All I've done to it is change the oil and then give it to my son as a project truck. It was a great gift to him because he wants to practice body work. He's made a 3d image of it on his computer using Blender (OS 3d imaging software). So, we will be popping off the wheels and doing brakes this week. We'll try to use the engine, but if not, we'll be swapping in a 22r engine. I'll be posting some pics this week. Any pointers will be greatly appreciated. I'll post a link to the new thread in upcoming days. Glad to have found you all here.
Welcome to TM! Hope both you and your son have fun with it. Plus, with him working on it, he'll appreciate it more and give him knowledge for the future.
