Sorry, itll skate or drift in 3rd/4th on gravel or the wet roads.
itll kick out a little in the dry if i give it to it.. but eh.. itll blow up if i keep punishing it! lol.
    New things:
-Replaced the clutch the a month ago with a standard Excedy kit, and had flywheel machined.
    -got some Ford Territory rims.
-heater fan was vibrating horribly, and then i found a dead mouse in the trucks heater box/fan.. eugh! it smelt baayyyd! lol
-done some repairs on tub and bonnet

Looking good. Is that engine like a 4.3 with a 700r transmission?

The truck looks amazing bro. I wish i had that kind of time and money for my truck. Id love to have the resources to make my own roll pan too, that would be hella sick yo. lol

I dont have a tach yet so i cant tell, but 3gs sounds high for 60mph??
maybe just the dif between the W55 and the W56 if thats what you have.

Still an amazing truck. i always imagine being able to go down there and get me a real nice hilux four door diesel. alas.:rolleyes2:

So you are intent on that v-6? Forgive me, but i'm kind of a purist. Have you looked into larger Toyota conversions?

    Thanks man!

Haha, I dont have a heap of money... :S
It helps knowing who you know and how much you can do yourself.

Ah I dunno about the hilux gearboxs.

    Haha.

Fair enough man, but here's the reasons.
I got the V6 for free.
These engines are cheap to buy/cheap parts, very common engine here.
The only other toyota engines worth doing are 1uz or 2jz.
    1uz is a V8. And 2jz is a much harder conversion.
I cant drive a V8 until im fully licenced, which is two years yet... Australian laws. :(
You can buy a conversion kit for the V6, and its a relatively easy to do conversion.. As opposed to a 1uz or 2jz conversion.
