Heya, rescued this 81 short box from Naramata BC. Needs a VI so I will clean it up and get it passed that. ordered a many parts from rock auto, found some mojave fenders locally, and got a new tail light and front headlight surround from kelowna. found some rust in the cab floor by the front passenger body mount. and rear seat mount. lived on a winery since 05 from what paper work I have found. 07 it got the notice for the inspection. since then it has never left the winery. secondary is completely gummed up. any who will be looking for bits and advice. thanks pete oh yea this is my other toyota
Wow thats a great find! That reminds me of my 82 rescue from a field. Welcome to TM! Ive been looking for 4x4 grill for my 82 shortbed and sure enough you have a one already.
Well all floor rust has been repaired, all lights now work, New Shocks, new front brakes, repacked front bearings, straightened front bumper ... I am sure there is more I did but cant remember. RockAuto was my friend though. it is off at the inspection place currently, finger crossed. pete
