hey guys , new to the sight here and toyotas all together....

i am having some problems with my ignition or carb???

the truck idles fine, and also revs fine. the only thing it is doing when you rev it up and let go of the throttle just before it hits the idle rpm it ****s the bed , coughs , burps and just about stalls, then catches the idle and runs fine. it still drives great when the rpm is up higher untill you let go of the throttle then it starts jerking and stuttering for a few seconds..

recent work done: new coil , wires, plugs , cap and rotor, cleaned carb, checked timing, gapped plugs, new battery and cables, new starter.

if anyone has some info on what step should be takin next please help me out.

i also need to now what screw adjusts what on the webber carb this thing has, i bought the truck with the carb on it and havent delt with them before.

Sounds like you need to set the mix screw, idle screw and reset the choke. Before you do, check the adapter plates. Make sure there are no air leaks and that the bolts are snug. Don't overtighten. Something like 12ft-lbs should be appropriate!

    Did you block off egr?
