Yesterday I put the stock suspension back on the civic with the addition of 2.5 lowering springs. One rear strut is completely blown but got a kid giving me his tein springs and bilstein struts with 5k miles on them and his TSW rims and a new fender for my air cans. Today- Installing rims and fender, should look better and be a more reliable daily now.
Today on my truck I put an new coil bwd select, new plugs ngk and wires ngk and old school ball shifter knob. sorry pic will b u tomorrow
I washed my truck, well I had it washed at California Speedway. And As a reward for donating $20 I got to take it for two laps around the track behind their pace car. I hit 90 on the back stretch and 75 through the corners.
That woulda been hella fun. I would have taken my Z though and donated a hundo to get the pace car out of my way hahhaa
^woot woot. Stared at it for bout 20 minutes figuring how I could do a rear roll down window, decided it would be TOO much fab for what it would be worth. Then noticed I could make all my break/fuel/air lines run through my new frame and got me a BIG ole smile on my face!!!
haha nice one. I waxed my hood and roof with Meguiar's Gold Class Carnuaba First layer of actual wax in years! Meguiar's Ultimate Compound to brighten her up. Zymol's Cleaner Wax to clean it up, think of it like a wax primer. Meguiar's Gold Class Carnuaba Wax to lay it down. Paste Wax that will last long and easy to apply!
I officially took her out of the garage and park her in the driveway. At the same time I removed the bed power washed it really well. I plan to sandblast the bed very soon. Then I installed the toxics shocks in the rear at it really stiffened the rear suspension. Plan to get it notched and little by little its coming together!
Bought a complete dash and valve cover to smooth (dont know how guess I'll go read) from the president of the Idaho chapter of Miniature Society. Found out he pretty much has a toyota junkyard in his backyard,, super sweet. All for $20
Starting from Monday. I hung out with family, on my way home, i had my nieces and nephew. it was wet out. drifted with them, so they had their first drift ever. they liked it. we did drive through a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE puddle. They liked that. I didn't drive the truck for a full 24hrs. Picked up my neices today, hung out with them, dropped them off at gymnastics. I filled up the truck today. gas was 3.60 for me, 13.x gallons in. you'd be surprised how gutsy a Toyota pickup feels with a gallon of gas in the tank! haha
ay yi yi! 3.62 for 87 3.72 for 89 3.82 for 91 that's all we have here. We USED to have 93... the performance boys miss it. iSpy
