Whassup guys, My name is Joe live in the California bay area. Toyota trucks had been in my family since I was a little boy now that I am a big boy I got me one! my short term goal with my 1989 Toyota hi-lux 2WD is to drop it 3 inches get all black rims and with black paint with clear lights in the front (some day ill tint it) and black euro tail lights. Give me 2 months and i should be done with operation “murder yota”. My long term goal would be to work the 22R into a beast.

Sounds like a plan. Make sure you take lots of pictures and post them. I spent a lot of time and money on a dodge dakota in high school and did not take very many pictures and did not save them to anything. Now i have 2 pictures of the outside only when it was done and i really want some of the interior and as i did the work. Before and after would have been great. I suggest taking a lot of pictures so you can remember the truck if something ever happens to it. By the way i use to live in the bay area myself. Where are ya at in the bay area?

San Jose? That is awesome, i smoked hookah for the first time there. The hookah bar scene didnt come to Idaho Utah area for a couple years after. I lived in Livermore and worked at the Lab.
Yeah there are a lot of vineyards behind the lab and Pleasanton is a pretty neat place i liked going there to find new places to eat dinner. I sure do miss the working at the lab. Haha you are not a fan of the euros Yota4life? I would trade ya my stocks but i dont think they are in good enough shape. maybe i will pull them out for ya and take a look.
So very...very...very...very TRUE... I would give you my stock set, but my buddy got hit in passenger rear so i only have the driver rear light in good shape.
