My spark plug keeps fouling out and i can not figure out why? When i take the spark plug out it does not have oil or nothing on it. I replaced the spark plugs, spark plug wires and dis. cap, I even tryed putting a defouler on the spark plug but doesnt help. When i take the plug out then put it back in and fire the truck up it runs good for about 20 sec then you can hear the engine die down and the plug fouls out. Any ideas why?

    Check spark.

If plug doesnt have anything on it why do you think its fouled. Usually fouled plugs have lot of carbon. Take the plug out leave it on your wire and ground it to make sure your getting good spark. Might be your igniter/coil. Is it only one plug? If not test all of them.

yes its only one plug. and the reason i think its fouling out is because when i take the spark plug wire off there is no change in the motor and the motor sounds like its skipping. im getting spark from the spark plug wire so not sure why its not firing

Do a compression test before going any further. :waytogo:

    Bent valve

Check compression if its good probably a bent valve. Not closing. Easy fix. I recently had the same problem. My valve guide broke and valve couldn't close all the way. Valve was also slightly bent.
