Not sure where they got them, but Safelite Auto Glass here locally got me a new set when I had the windshield replaced. Not sure what they cost, insurance cover them, but they do look amazing....

I'm sorry, I just realized that you've got a different body style than mine.
    Check Safelite though.

thanks, i checked it out....they just have glass on their website. im sure if yours was an insurance job they just purchased it from a dealer.

if anyone else knows of somewhere besides the dealership let me know, i can probably get a discount on the factory ones cause i sell motorcycle parts and i know a guy at a dealership that buys parts from me.... i scratch his back, so im sure he will return the favor

i would just like to find it on my own without asking any favors from him

Yah man I did some checking as well cause i as well am missing the top window trim piece on mine. If you can find a glass company ask were they get their trim from. They dont really always get it from the dealer cause then they are loosing money on the job. I assume most glass companies have a place that provides trim to them. I guess call around. I finally found a glass company that could get mine but wanted me to buy the entire surround not just the top piece but I never asked what company it was coming from. Couldnt have been the dealer cause i checked them first and they were 3 weeks out and window shop was gonna have it in 2 days

i probably wont worry about this for awhile considering i have so many things i need to do before paint...... but if anyone comes across something cheap and affordable and is 100% new and factory let me know. mine of course has no leaks and is fine but looks kinda stupid with the gap there....oh well, guess no one is staring at that when im throwin sparks everywhere

I bought mine new from the dealer like 6-7 years ago. A couple years after sitting up the chrome got like this black stuff over the top of it. The only pieces that kept the chrome look were the corners when I got the black stuff off. I really wish I could find a better place that had better window chrome!
