I smoke hookah on the weekends with my friends and think this bowl would be an awesome shift knob. What do you think?

I dont know man depends on how much shifting you do. It looks cool and all but after a while you get tired of the odd shape and such. Ive had piston shift knobs, beer tap handles, billiard balls, gernades. The ones I like the most unless at a show or something is just a plain old ball. I do have one in the making its actually a redbull can and Im sure I will get tired of it within a month but yah its cool for a while

Yeah for a daily driver shift knob i would really like some kind of European knob out of a older 4 speed rabbit or VW GTI. I loved the shift knob in my 2002 GTI.

i like something ergonomic. definitely not a pistol grip like a SRT8 Challenger lol, that's like a dildo.

but honestly when i get a manual one day, I'll have a really really obnoxious shifter of course.

I put in this shift knob. To be honest it is a little hard to get used to. its a lot taller than the old ball. (theres a stash pocket under it thats about half the size) and its also noisy because i throw change in it. i can tell you that one will most likely annoy you because of its shape. mine is not so abnormal and still does. so id go with something a little more shaped like the original. but if you wanted the look over comfort....id say go cooler before you make the change.

I took a damaged GTI knob cleaned it up and cut and laser etched a customer toyota insert. I get great comfort and a cool look too.

i'd just be cautious if you got summoned by the cherries and berries in your rearview.... that may not go over so well with those guys. in my run ins with several local pd, (i just look like a hooligan to them i guess) i almost always get searched no matter where i am. i can certify that you will too with a shift knob like that. but its your ride and your time on the side of the road.

Haha yeah I have been harassed many many times for being a "hooligan" I have had runs ins more then 3 times a night on multiple occassions and I understand a clean bowl is legal so it would cause harassment but shouldnt be nothing more. Plus I went with a old GTI knob instead. It is much much more comfortable but hte hookah bowl sounds fun for show reasons.

i was using an old bike peg on my 94 explorer til my mom started using it for a while and was complaining that she didn't like it. was gonna use it on my toyota but found a knob that matches in color almost perfectly. its a sjull thats kinda got crooked teeth, and the funny thing is they are crooked in the same place as mine. i'll get pics when i get back from burbank next week. pickin' up a vette for a freind and i get to visit my girl too. YEEAUH!!!

lol a buddy of mine has one that comes out his rag top on his nissan. looks hela funny caues he glued barbie hair to the skull shift knob so it flows in the wind when he drives.

there has also been many times when we put a condom over the knob part so that flowed in the wind too. he didnt like that very much
