ok, if i just do the basic 75-78 front disc swap, which parts would I need? I have a set of spindles.. will i reuse the hubs currently on it? list me all the parts i will need. I'm not gonna be racing or anything just want front disc for better stopping power.
    i do have a rebuilt 20r with a 5spd from a 78 celica in it.. runs great.

you will need spindles, the hubs and rotors, brake calipers and possibly brake lines. ( havnt started the swap yet so i dont know ) Also you will need to mount the left spindle on the right side of the truck and vica versa

i thought that if you use the 75-78 brakes they go on the same sides but if you use the 79 newer you have to switch them

Sorry I mis read, you are correct. I got the 79 and up setup. You still need the stuff I said though. Also I would put new bearings in em just to be safe.
