Our 77 has what looks to be an aftermarket rear bumper installed with a ball mount for a hitch. Its pretty banged up and we'd like to replace it. Are there any newer Toyotas that we could snag one from? Such as a 4Runner or newer truck?
it seems all the older hilux's came with a ugly rear bumper that looks aftermarket. i think it's because they were shipped here bed less, and got beds that are made in america installed. mine had one that was diamond plated steel, and every one i've ran into has had the same ugly bumper lol. i'd imagine you could make some brackets to install a 79-88 rear bumper pretty easy.
