In the morning when it's cold outside (I leave at 6am) nope, it runs fine, but it's mostly downhill. In the afternoon (5 PM) going uphill in 4th gear at like 70 - 80, the needle moves above halfway but still below the red zone. Once I make it past the big hills and I pop her in fifth the needle goes back in the middle.

I'm commuting to Sylmar everyday and I have the factory am/fm stereo from 1984, I don't even have a tape player. :(

Thanks, man. All is well. Just trying to find a cheap car, we sold the wife's '08 Focus, couldn't afford the $365/month anymore. I want a 90-95 4Runner really bad but can't find one cheap enough. Also, looking for work with no luck. Gotta a show this saturday that my truck will be in, I'll get a lot of pics cause its just for minis & compacts.

Got my seats, passenger side rear didn't mount in because of the "tilt-n-slide" of the 4Runner, so two drill holes later, they're in. Pix under the Hijack thread. (yes, they are brown and s***, but still comfortable.)

Depends on the style of rim and the color that you want. If it's something simple like the OE rims and you chose a basic color like I did, it shouldn't be more than like 200 bucks.

Yup, I cleaned out the EGR Valve and replaced the O2 Sensor, passed with flying colors. I'm thinking about getting 3 inch blocks for the rear. It will look sick dropped.

Nice, you gonna go with an aluminum radiator? My 89 had a flowmaster exhaust and it sounded wicked. 2 1/4 inch piping all the way.

Good good, ordered some clear corners and clear markers. I'm looking to do the whole front end clear and chromed out. What about you? Anything new with your truck?
