its called "ace muffler shop"...dont go there, the worker told me $150 over the phone, then after he cut my old muffler out he said " its 250" ,I was like WTF ! i was pissed,i said f it. paid the $250 for magnaflow muffler with 2 1/4' catback and chrome tip. F the chrome tip, and he used oxy/acetylene to weld ...f that...not a true muffler shop...no mig welder in sight..

you can get a "carb" legal carb for cali emissions but its easier and more profitable to use a non emissions compliant one...... i would honestly use a holley 500 over a weber. was just easier to tune once i got the adjustable metering block to replace the jets.

LCE IS currently the only mfg. that makes a carb legal header and the best for the money so yea....... thats gonna be a good stop. 150 for a catback is a fairly good price.

as a matter of fact, i do have a buddy thats in need of some body work on the truck i sold him. he was involved in a wreck and theres lots of front end damage........ nearly an entire froont clip needs to be replaced. hood, fender, core, bumper, valance, lights etc...... let me know if there is a way to meet up so you can check it out.......... speaking of.... what part of daygo you at/from??

yea....... the 4 to 5 speed swap is fairly simple....... mostly bolt on situation. i think.... if i remember correctly, so long as its a 20r/22r/22re/22rte motor, all the relative trannies interchange.

welcome to the site man! as for good toyota salvage yards, hwy 67 dismantlers and a&b truckin are good toyota friendly yards. if you need more specific parts, let me know...... ill dig around some connections and find em. ill keep an eye out for those sr5 efi wheels. they ARE pretty damn rare but with a lil patience and luck, you WILL find them. i would dig around a little bit...... you can build brackets and order special rotor hats and disks to swap in the 4wd 4 piston calipers. someone has already done it....... think it was a member by the name of litneon.
