- Current Modifications:
- Currently stock with 22R motor and 4 speed transmission. I purchased the truck a couple of months ago. Since then, I performed a full tune up and fluids change. I recently purchased a complete clutch replacement kit and was going to replace the original clutch components in it now.
- Future Modifications:
- I am planning to have a shop install a LS 5.3 GM motor with a 4L80e transmission. I also plan to swap out the original truck rear end for a Ford 8.8 with disc brakes. Other plans are to upgrade the front suspension with aftermarket a-arms, coilovers and Belltech lower leaf springs to lower the ride height.
I have always enjoyed building and working on various cars and trucks. Throughout the years, I have owned several American muscle cars but this is my first mini truck. I have the ability to perform mechanical work and have built many v8 motors for fun and for friends. I can also do metalwork, welding and fabrication. Since moving to AZ in 2015, the neighborhood where I currently reside and rent a home in does not allow home project builds due to HOA policies.Interact
