Looking for a good reference book to use while working on your truck? Below are some great ones from Haynes and Chilton. Haynes Repair Manual - 1969-1978 Toyota Pickups Toyota: Pick-Ups/Land Cruiser/4Runner 1970-88 - (Chilton's Total Car Care Repair Manual) Haynes Repair Manual - Toyota Pickups and 4-Runner, 1979-1995 Toyota: Pick-Ups/Land Cruiser/4Runner 1989-96 (Chilton's Total Car Care Repair Manual)
i have both chilton and haynes repair manuels. i like using haynes for quick reference but chilton for indepth help, which i need to order a new one...
www.autozone.com also host's online versions of the haynes/chilton books, everything is there, but harder to find compared to a book. you got to sign up, but its free. most 2xr powered yota's from 75-95 and a whole lot of other cars.
Is there any way I can get a free one?....bought my truck without a manual..Any help would be appreciated.
Autozone is free (FYI, Autozone owns All-data and that's what they provide in watered down form online) the FSMs online are free. Anything printed you'll have to pay for.
those manuals at the top dont seem comprehensive...what manual should i use that is specific to my model run( its a 77 20r 2wd)
FYI. The link to the FSM mentioned in one of your other posts on here is in #4 post of this thread. I don't think there ever was one on this site for the '77.
thats for a much newer truck than mine...the #4 post...it looks like the type of thing im looking for though...if only it were for the 20r, i have a 77', do yall think that this one will cover enough? Toyota: Pick-Ups/Land Cruiser/4Runner 1970-88 - (Chilton's Total Car Care Repair Manual) what i really want is the bumper to bumper manual for my truck, and not a bunch of stuff about 4wd and 22r,ect
