yay yay!!! what a mess! timing chain replacement time! and head gasket and all other gaskets that came in my kit.

after looking at the replacement timing set i got, makes me wish i went with the engnbldr steel backed guides. but o'well this timing chain set should outlast the truck.

how do you folks recommend breaking the crankshaft bolt loose? the fsm say to use a specialty tool, but i know someone has to have figured out away to get around that

Breaker bar, put the trans in 5th and the E brake on as hard as you can and yank on it. If it's an auto no issue, just crank away. make sure it's a breaker bar because it's a tough bolt.

also are the threads on this opposite? meaning i have to turn it the opposite direction than normal bolts? or am i just stoned and its a regular bolt hahaha?

OK put it in reverse if it's a 4 speed. If you give it a good yank with a breaker bar it won't move far in the other direction. If you have the bar pointing up, you pull towards the passenger side. It's not reverse threads. Besides, it won't go too far the other way and I don't think a partial rotation will do any damage. At least I've never had that happen.

I found it, the holy grail...:D

    Scouting the yards, found a 88 Supra W58 7m.

    I picked out the rear diff; a G-code, 4.30 R&P, 4 pinion, and LSD!!
Should go nicely in the 77 truck axle.

Now only to decide to run the 4.30 or the 4.10 gearset.

Have I mentioned how last night some bitch in her Porsche 944 rolled back in heavy traffic and hit the front of my truck?
I cussed her out and she proceeds to tell me "Well I think you hit me"
told her fck you and I went back to my truck as the light turns green, she takes off.

i totally shouldve chased her down...

finally finished EVERYTHING on my motor... wont turn over some wires fried or something so, I hooked up a push button start switch lol... the motor barely turns over like the battery is dead but tuns at the speed of light with no spark plugs in so maybe it just has wayy to much compression ???

now my e-brake is stuck on for some reason??? I cant even move my truck.. unless i yoke it with the titan ?!?
