Today so far i put in a new to me coolant passage and hose, Re-did a ground, popped the battery back in, sat in it and listened to some music then i realized that the amp was not grounded thru a wire but it was still on. Im guessing its grunding thru the case.

Now im waiting for a mechanic to come help me out getn it running. hope this fcker dnt leave me hangin

I fixed my timing belt problem I had after replacing the water pump. I also replaced the rear brakes. Going up for sale tomorrow! ;)

yesterday i finished putting everything back together after fixing an oil leak. once i had it running again, i quickly found i had no oil pressure! anybody got any ideas where i should start? was just going to replace the oil pump, unless there is a less expensive fix.

    Anybody?

Said to hell with it and pulled the motor apart. Just have the distributor to mark and pull then the off comes the head. Have the gaskets ordered. Screw it, either way I've gotta do it right? Who's gonna buy a truck with a bad head gasket???

Hell yea dude. I thought to myself "No wonder my neighbor was so willing to give it away..." lol now i kno to keep the case away from metal hahah...

And well today i dint do sh!t to my truck since the mechaninc that came yesterday told me it dint have compression on 2 cylinders, and for some reason there was massive amounts of fuel coming OUT OF THE INTAKE!!!. Im guessing its either i somehow mixed a vaccum line and a fuel line together somehow, or my cold start injector is spewin toooo much fuel into the intake chamber...

Anyway, I might be buying a Nissan BUT! the yota is staying. Ima buy a new motor for it wen im able to..
    FML!!!!!

Dropped off my 20R head at the machine shop.

Explained to him that "stage 5" LC valves and seats actually fit in the chamber. Told him to intall those (with critical valve stem height difference noted), mill it 50 thousanths, install valve guides, clean and pressure check the coolant (in case the seats ate into a passage).

He told me around $350-450. And getting it back in a week and a half.
