wanna get an idea of how low u can go without bags and without cutting your frame. anybody got pics? post em here.
u can go pretty low..its just that u need to set it up for the roads u drive on/ what u use the truck for.. i only have 2/3 drop on my truck but looking to go to a 3/3. i cant lower the rear any more or i will be sitting on axle when i have my motorcycle in the rear.. also, have u tried using the search feature? not trying to be a jacka$$..
Here is a quick pic of my 91 extra-cab before I bagged it. Its static dropped front & rear, but I do have a small (2.5 inch) c-notch on the rear in this pic too.
I dont know if this counts but its under construction.. I have the torsions cranked but not all the way. I will get it notched and the front can still go lower because it doesnt have a engine in it just yet.
you will run into frame hitting issues at 5 inches of drop. at 6 you will sit less than 3/4 of an inch off the frame and will hit constantly. another trick to going low is smaller wheels (15 inch or 14) and small tires..... (165/50)
Pretty close...I also had Gabriel airshocks in the rear along with the c-notch as well too. Oh & with a static drop like mine was its also best to run drop shocks too.
