I have to weld up some holes on my 82, was it difficult to redo the body mount?

Was bored so decided to drop my daily and slap on my stars....

 

Cools trucks man. Don't worry about that bird sh!t, it's not you, it's that welder. I've actually been able to lay a bead with a harbor freight welder just like that one, but even then it still looked like crap since it was without gas. Flux core sucks. But that area won't show, I think you did a great job.

 

Thanks man and yea I'm working on getting a better welder. You pro's give me the motivation.

Mild port n polish job, didn't go to crazy since the valves are already oversized. Sometimes bigger ain't always better... lol!

how big of a shot are you running? i am tossing around something small. like a 35. but hidden on the bottom of the intake.

 

Thanks P-racer. It moves ok, alot happier up top than the 22r stock head I had on for sure.

S88~ Haven't tried the giggle juice yet, still piecing together the kit. Still need to fab up my bottle brackets and mount the fuel pump... As for how much, idk maybe start off with a 75 shot and take to the max eventually. We'll see how much a stock bottom end can really handle safely... I don't mind blowing it up for R&D purposes.

I was thnking of hiding it too but, it'll make changing jets harder. Maybe after I got the tuning part down I'll go stealth... But for now it's ok if the comp see's it, wether I use it or not is what really matters anyway.
